OCR: Macintosh TROUBLE SHOOTER Backup Programs: Retrospect Express Retrospect Express is a great backup program, but only if you're NOT backing up to a tape drive - this is Retrospect (Express's big brother) area of expertise. But be careful with SCSI setups, as Express is extremely picky about termination, and can often freeze when ejecting disks, or even after writing to the disk for a while and then freezes. Other than that it is a good program to have, if you're a serious Mac user. Features: *Backup to: any mountable disk (eg. Zip, Jaz, optical, Syquest etc.) – but not to tape * Archive groups of files *Restore from any disk (if one is damaged or missing, it'll use the others) * Automatic backup schedule *Incrementals by date only Retrospect Express Directory Immediate Automate Tools Configure Backup, Restore, or perform other operation now Backup Restore Duplicate Archive Back up files to a StorageSet™ Copy files to a set of media or the Internet Restore files from a StorageSet Recreate a disk or retrieve files and folders Duplicate one volume to another Make an identical copy of a desktop disk or folder Archive files to a StorageSet Move files to a StorageSet, removing originals
